Hello hello to all you super-nice people who just friended me!!  If you missed my info, my name is Laura and I am a PoT addict.  I draw stuff for fun. :3


Here's Niou and Yagyuu for no other reason then that I can. XD;;;

I don't usually write a lot about my fandom, but I make quite a bit of art (and now that I have a good tablet, there will hopefully be more to come! ;3) and write about my everyday life (which ranges from high school and art classes to my job as a costume designer/production artist for a theatre company to getting ready for college!).

Oh oh!  In GOOD news..  We got a hotel room for Otakon!  It was LITERALLY the last one left advertisted by the con website, and at a fairly good price and an EXCELLENT location.  It's the Holiday Inn (Inner Harbor)~  I'm looking forward to the short walk~!! lol

We're checking in on Thursday and checking out Sunday... wheeeee!! :D *excitement*

Also, another Rikkai uniform ordered. It'll be a while until it gets here, though.. (one more cosplay DONE! YAY!)

And, I've been re-reading Naruto for no reason. And trying to draw at 1 AM.

My overall theme was "Muses".  I wanted to use a blue/gold colour scheme after seeing a beautiful 1920's art deco theater

.. I'm on a Matchbox Twenty kick.  I downloaded some of their CDs yesterday, and canNOT stop listening. ;3

I felt the itch to paint today..



Literally, I just NEEDED to paint so badly that I didn't care what I was painting on.  I'm out of any sort of canvas, so I tore the carboard backing off of one of my canvas pads and painted on THAT.. XDD;;

The night sky's been very pretty recently.. the other night was cloudy and absoloutely beautiful.  Painted from memory.

(And this picture is absoloute crap.  Sigh.  It's grey and cloudy outside, so the natural light from my window isn't good enough not to use a flash.. >__<;;)

Looking at random art, I'm inspired to do something BIG.. but I don't have BIG paper. ........... That's no good....

Our next project after screen printing in Graphic Comm. is a 18"x22" poster.  We have to get a picture and then find an online Photoshop tutorial and apply it.

So I decided to not waste time and get to work on it post-haste, starting at home.

... Too bad that I didn't know the SIZE until today.

Sigh.  So, this is unfortunately trash.  I'll have to make a whole new one... But, not to let it completely go to waste, I'll post it here.
